Transgender Support Groups & Community Events

In addition to gender affirming hormone therapy (also referred to as “HRT” or “hormone replacement therapy”), Plume offers a wide range of transition support to our Members. As soon as you sign up, you can join community events and hangouts, support groups, and a broad range of workshops on everything from voice training to legal name and gender marker changes.

A supportive community of care

Everyone at Plume is committed to celebrating and uplifting the trans experience. Founded by Dr. Jerrica Kirkley, MD (she/her), a trans woman and a leading voice in gender-affirming healthcare, we remain focused on the the overall health and wellness of the transgender community. The majority of our staff is transgender, nonbinary, and gender non-conforming, and deeply understand and appreciate the broad range of social and emotional support that can benefit our Members and our broader trans community.

Group

Trans and nonbinary support groups

Support groups are included in every Membership, offering a space to talk through your transition, make new connections, and deepen your understanding of your identity. No matter how you identify (nonbinary, FTM, MTF, genderqueer, and more!), support groups allow you to meet others on a similar journey and explore together. Each group is guided by a trans or nonbinary facilitator from our community who is trained by our licensed therapist. Plume members can join any time and explore different topics that are relevant to you, no matter where you are in your gender journey.
