Symptoms of depression include persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness, or loss of interest in activities. Anxiety involves persistent feelings of worry, fear, unease, and difficulty concentrating. Both can also cause physical symptoms such as fatigue, changes in appetite, and sleep troubles.

Insomnia can present as difficulty falling or staying asleep. Many people with insomnia also struggle with daytime activities due to fatigue and difficulty concentrating.

Sometimes insomnia can be due to other conditions like depression or anxiety, so we always look at your full health to find the treatment right for you.

Good, restful sleep is essential for a healthy mind and body. Let us help you get the rest you need.

What happens at a mental health appointment?

Note your symptoms

Before your appointment, make note of your mood, sleep, appetite, and overall experiences from at least the last several weeks.

Complete screener

Fill out standard mental health screeners to better understand what might be causing your symptoms.

Discuss and evaluate

Meet with your affirming provider and tell us what’s going on. Our providers will assess your symptoms and review your medical history.

Plan your treatment

Together, you and your provider will decide on the right course of care for you and which medications to use.

Begin your care plan

Pick up your medications and start your treatment. Your provider will inform you how long it may take to begin feeling changes, possible side effects, and when to schedule your follow-up appointment.
