What kind of future am I dreaming of?

Try to imagine a future where trans people are not just surviving, but thriving. What does that look like for you? What would it feel like to live in that version of the world?

Example:
In my future, I don’t have to explain my gender to anyone. I have access to care, community, and rest. Trans kids grow up knowing they are loved and protected.

Where do I feel most like myself?

Not every space makes room for us to show up as we are. Take a moment to think about the people, places, or situations where you don’t have to shrink or explain yourself. What makes that space possible?

Example:
I feel most like myself when I’m talking with other trans people. There’s a sense of ease in not having to translate my experience or defend it. That kind of comfort is rare, and I’m learning to cherish it.

What does it mean to celebrate myself?

Pride isn’t just about events. It’s also about celebrating who you are, every day. What does it mean to celebrate yourself, your growth, or your identity? How do you make time for that?

Example:
Celebrating myself means letting myself take up space, even when it feels uncomfortable. It means choosing clothes I love, speaking up for myself, and saying “I matter.”

What does safety look like for me and for my community?

Safety means different things to different people. For some, it’s a physical place. For others, it’s emotional security, legal protections, or being surrounded by people who get it. What does safety mean to you right now?

Example:
Right now, safety looks like being able to take a walk without fear. It looks like being with people who ask questions with care and listen without judgment.

How do I define pride for myself?

Pride means different things to different people. For some, it’s about visibility. For others, it’s about quiet survival. How do you define pride for yourself, especially in this moment?

Example:
Pride, for me, is choosing myself again and again, even when it’s hard. It’s claiming space in a world that would rather I didn’t. It’s living anyway.

What does my community need more of, and what can I give?

Think about what you wish there were more of in your community. Is it care, protection, joy, rest, or resources? What are you able (or willing) to offer others, even if it’s something small?

Example:
We need more patience. Everyone’s hurting in different ways. I can give time. I can give softness. I can give my attention when someone needs to vent.

Who in the trans community makes me feel inspired or connected?

Think about someone (famous or not) whose story, creativity, or strength moves you. How have they shaped the way you see your own journey? What would you say to them if you could?

Example:
There’s a trans artist I follow who’s unapologetically themselves in everything they create. They remind me that trans joy can be revolutionary. Their art helps me feel brave enough to be myself.

There’s no right way to show up during Pride. However you’re celebrating this year, we hope you’re reminded of your strength, your joy, and the community that’s always rooting for you. You’re part of something powerful, and you’re not going anywhere.
