As Trans Awareness Week Month comes to a close, we want to take a moment to celebrate what it means to live authentically. This month, we asked members of our community to share their experiences of accepting and loving their trans identity, along with what they wish more people knew about being trans. The responses we received are about joy, self-discovery, and the ways each person has come to embrace who they are. These stories offer a window into lives shaped by authenticity, love, and community, inviting us all to listen, learn, and connect.
We’re honored to share these stories with you as we wrap up Trans Awareness Month. We hope they spark reflection, inspire conversation, and remind you that wherever you are on your journey, you’re not alone.
“What do you wish more people knew about being trans?”
“What is your favorite part of your trans identity?”
“What led you to accept and love your trans identity?”
As we wrap up Trans Awareness Week Month, it’s important to remember that our conversations don’t end here. Acceptance, understanding, and love for our trans identities don’t happen in a month—they’re ongoing, evolving processes that require all of us to show up and listen to each other.
We’re grateful to everyone who shared their story and to the people in our community who continue to make space for these important conversations. Your voices matter, and your truth deserves to be heard. To all of our trans siblings: We see you, we hear you, and we’re in this together. Let’s keep pushing forward and create more spaces where we can all unapologetically live our truth.
