Renée Brown (she/they pronouns) is a Black & Latinx woman of trans experience, public health scholar, 3rd year medical student, and host of The E(Queer)ity Podcast based in Chicago. Originally from the metro Atlanta area, she has experience working and volunteering in the nonprofit space, government, and healthcare systems, all while championing work that focuses on marginalized groups, particularly LGBTQ+ and racial minority groups. She plans to be a steadfast advocate in this arena for years to come.

The E(Queer)ity Podcast centers on LGBTQ+ health disparities and the efforts to dismantle them. Each episode delivers insightful conversations with people involved in LGBTQ+ related causes to educate on advancements in health equity. In addition, there are also episodes titled “Lived Experienced” that highlight how certain queer and trans individuals prioritize their health and well-being in the context of their personal lives (career, family, friends, and more).
