Have you ever wondered how T actually works in the body? How does taking T have an impact on your mental health, bleeding cycles, body fat distribution and hair growth? Why do some people experience changes in their body differently than others, even when taking the same dose of HRT? Learn more about the science behind T and how it works with our very own nonbinary medical provider, River (they/them), a mixed white and indigenous poet, writer, and Physician’s Assistant who’s been on T for over 3 years now! This event is open to anyone in our community, including non-Members!
River (they/them) is a nonbinary, white and indigenous poet, writer, doting cat parent, partner and Physician Assistant. River graduated from PA school in 2018, and has been prescribing GAHT for a little over a year at Plume. They have also been on T for about 3 years now. Prior to Plume, they worked in primary care, urgent care, and sexual health. When they are not working at Plume, they are probably hanging out with their cats & their husband, going to therapy, or writing their upcoming speculative fiction/scifi novel about first contact between two ancient human groups ~350,000 years ago. And yes, the ancient humans in my novel have MANY different genders and views on gender, which clash on contact ;).
