Unfortunately, we’re not able to schedule an appointment at this time

Plume Expanded Clinical Services are only available to GAHT members. Thank you for your patience as we roll out these services to non-GAHT members.

Plume is quickly ramping up efforts to comply with new laws in Florida (SB254). We’re hiring more physicians and working with local organizations to deliver in-person care for the community.

If you’ve never been prescribed gender affirming hormone therapy (“HRT”), we’ll follow up as soon as more in-person appointments become available. To meet the needs of new state laws, new Plume Members who have not been prescribed gender affirming hormones such as estrogen or testosterone prior to May 17, 2023, will need to meet with a Plume Physician, in-person, and sign an informed consent form created by the Florida Boards of Medicine and Osteopathic Medicine. After this initial in-person visit, we can provide additional care and prescription refills online.

If you’re currently taking hormones, but need a new physician, we can help right away. The Florida Board of Medicine recently issued a temporary rule that allows adults prescribed gender affirming hormone therapy (also called HRT) prior to May 17, 2023 to continue care with a “physician” – meaning, a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO). You can meet with these physicians with a virtual appointment online. If you have been prescribed gender affirming medications in the past, even if these prescriptions were written by a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), you can now meet with a Plume physician online to continue your care.

If you think you might qualify for this exception or have other questions, reach out to hello@getplume.co.

In order to provide healthcare services to you and give you medically appropriate care, we are required to get a recent blood pressure reading. You can get your blood pressure read for free at many pharmacies, go to your primary care doctor, or you may purchase a blood pressure cuff online.
