Join us for an exciting Plume Community Corner Event: Feminizing Makeup 101 for Trans and Nonbinary folks.  Victoria Rose (she/her) is an LGBTQIA+ advocate and content creator. As a woman of transgender experience, Victoria founded her YouTube channel in the hopes of providing fellow queer people with camaraderie and first-hand guidance. A large portion of her content is dedicated to finding ways to “feminize” oneself without costly plastic surgery. In addition to content creation, Victoria is on the board of directors for a major healthcare chain specializing in trans* care, and was recently a keynote speaker at the University of Rhode Island, of which she is an alumna. 

Victoria will be sharing her secrets to simple, everyday feminizing makeup. Starting with skin, she will demonstrate how to properly cover beard shadow, by correcting the underlying blue tones. Additionally, Victoria will use a diagram used by surgeons performing facial feminization surgery to create a feminizing effect with only contours and highlights. Finally, she will demonstrate how to create a faux brow lift, while opening up the eye. The goal is to give each member new skills to take with them on their road to living their most authentic life.
